Terms and Conditions

Payment terms:

I require an £80 non-refundable deposit to secure an assessment.
The full assessment fee is due at least 48 hours before the assessment.

All changes and cancellations must be notified in writing to ewhitefieldtutoring@gmail.com
Cancellation charges:
- Cancelled with more than 14 days’ notice of an assessment: deposit only.
- Cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice but less than 15 days’ notice of the assessment: 30% of full fee.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of an assessment: 100% of the full fee.

Cancellation by the Assessor

In the event that severe weather (or any other emergency) results in the cancellation of a session, I will endeavour to give clients a minimum of 24 hours’ notice and to reschedule the assessment as soon as possible.

We are committed to protecting your data. Please refer to the privacy policy on the website. https://www.bucksdyslexia.co.uk/privacy-policy. Following the assessment and the completion of the final assessment report, the tests papers will be destroyed. You final assessment report will be held by us until the assessee is 24 years or for 6 years whichever is longest. After this time we will be unable to provide you with a copy.

Please be aware that despite out best effort and expertise, we cannot provide an absolute guarantee of a definitive diagnosis.

Timescales

Reports can take up to 21 working days to complete.

Requirements

The person being assessed needs to of had a valid eye test within the past two years of the assessment taking place.

Completion of both the family and school questionnaire is mandatory prior to the assessment. Failure to provide these documents may result in cancellation of the assessment.

We retain the right to cancel the assessment if the aforementioned documentation is not made available within the specified timeframe.

Tuition

Cancellations

If your child can not make a lesson you can either a) reschedule the lesson (if possible), or b) cancel that week's lesson.
You can cancel up to two lessons per term, provided you give 48 hours' notice. You will be charged for any additional lessons that you cancel and don’t reschedule.
If you cancel within 48 hours of the lesson, you can either a) reschedule the lesson for another time that week or b) cancel that week's lesson. If you cancel without rescheduling you will still be charged.
If you would like to stop the lessons, you can do so at any time, but I do require two weeks written notice.
If I am unable to tutor on the scheduled day, I will give you as much notice as possible and will give you the choice of rescheduling or cancelling. You will not be charged for the lesson if I cancel and it is not rescheduled.

Payments

Lessons are payable in advance on a half termly basis.

Fees may be revised every 12 months.
